I feel like I'm standing on the outer courts now, all the time...just watching. Unmoved. But maybe it's right where You want me to be...I think it's where You want me to be because its not just about encountering Your Presence...but wanting You more than just the presence, more than just the feeling.
Before Matt Redman wrote the song "Heart of Worship" he had the whole band and sound system stripped away and the church had to learn to worship in a new way...to actually bring something out of themselves and offer it to God. He said "We’d gained a new perspective that worship is all about Jesus, and He commands a response in the depths of our souls no matter what the circumstance and setting."
